People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR Taisiya Litvinenko has died.

Theater and film actress Taisiya Litvinenko has died at the age of 91. This was announced on April 6 by Ukrainian actress Rimma Zyubina on the Facebook social network (owned by the Meta organization, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).

"Eternal and bright memory! Taisiya Iosifovna Litvinenko. My condolences to the family!" she wrote.

Litvinenko worked at the Lviv National Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater. She played many roles in theater and cinema, staged plays as a director, and taught acting at Lviv University. In 1988, she was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR.

Litvinenko became famous for his roles in the films "Maxim Perepelitsa", "Melancholic Waltz", "At Any Cost", "For Two Birds with one Stone" and "The War in the Western Direction".
