In the Leningrad region, another body was found near the house of a suspect in the murder of three people.

The body of a fourth victim was found in the village of Lipnaya Gorka in the Tikhvin district of the Leningrad region. This was reported on April 6 by the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region.

"The body of a man and his dog was found 200-300 m from the house where the suspect of the murder of three people and the attempted murder of another man lived," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

The criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Attempted murder") and Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder of two or more persons").

It is specified that investigators of the investigative department for the city of Tikhvin, police officers and experts continue to work at the scene. The investigation has prepared a petition to the court for the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention.

Earlier that day, it was reported that a man living in the village of Lipnaya Gorka, while intoxicated, killed three people and injured another. The conflict occurred between the pensioner and his stepson. At some point, the man took a hunting rifle and shot the young man. He died on the spot. After that, he went outside, where he shot two more people and wounded a third. Eyewitnesses reported the incident to the police.
