The Department of Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow has temporarily banned the operation of the Vnukovo Village Park Hotel & Spa food hall due to violations of sanitary and epidemiological standards. This was announced on April 6 by the press service of the department.

The check of the hotel was initiated after information appeared about an intestinal infection in one of the children who lived in the complex.

"During the inspection of the food store, numerous gross violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements were revealed. <...> The revealed violations pose a threat to the emergence and spread of mass infectious diseases," the website of the Moscow Department of Rospotrebnadzor says.

The ban on the operation of the food store was introduced on April 2 and will remain in place until the court's decision. The department's staff drew up a protocol under Article 6.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for catering to the population), the case materials were sent to the Shcherbinsky District Court of the capital.

Earlier, on March 7, Rospotrebnadzor closed a Chinese cafe in Blagoveshchensk after poisoning five people. The establishment did not provide documents confirming the quality and safety of its products, the food in it was not labeled, and washing dishes and kitchen equipment was carried out without the use of disinfectants.
