The Dome of Donbass system thwarted 216 attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on residents and facilities of the DPR in a week.

The Domol Donbas Air Defense and Electronic Warfare System intercepted 216 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in a week The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over Donetsk and Makeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on April 6 by the press service of the republican directorate of the Federal Security Service (FSB).

In particular, the system intercepted three drones over the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk, which were exploring the territory in the area of civilian fuel and lubricants depots. In addition, another 28 UAVs were shot down during a massive attack on the night of April 4-5.

Explosives experts from the republican directorate of the FSB, in turn, neutralized the downed drones on the ground and destroyed them at special ranges.

"Thanks to the well-coordinated work of our defenders and the timely reaction of citizens, the crash sites of the drones were quickly identified. There were no civilian casualties or damage to infrastructure," the press service said.

More than 30 sites have been hit since agreements were reached on steps to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

A week earlier, from March 24 to March 30, the Dome of Donbass repelled attacks by a total of 188 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So, in Donetsk, an aircraft-type false landing gear was intercepted, as well as a Skat jet drone aimed at destroying the railway infrastructure. In Makeyevka, the system successfully detected and neutralized a Darts drone armed with an improvised explosive device.
