A man who was injured in a bear attack in the Shakhovsky district of the Moscow region regained consciousness. This was announced on April 6 by Butai Butaev, director of the Krasnogorsk hospital.

According to him, the victim's condition is already improving.

"The man has several more stages of treatment ahead of him," the director is quoted as saying on the Telegram channel of the Moscow region Ministry of Health.

The incident occurred on April 3 near the village of Sokolovo. A bear attacked a 29-year-old man who was in a forest plot. The victim was hospitalized with head and chest wounds, as well as a fractured shoulder, but he managed to survive. The man's condition is monitored by doctors.

On April 4, a local resident shared with Izvestia that the surviving man's face was badly injured. According to her, his face and scalp are almost gone. She clarified that the man went to the forest for deer antlers, and after the predator attacked, he was able to seek help from rescuers.
