On April 6, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that 731 people had been evacuated from the border areas of the Kursk region.

"Since March 12, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, and volunteers have taken out 731 people," the department said in a Telegram channel.

It is specified that local residents are being transported to temporary accommodation facilities, where they are provided with comprehensive assistance. They are also being helped with the restoration of documents. Psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as specialists from other departments, work with citizens in safe areas.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recalled that by calling the hotline around the clock, it is possible to clarify the lists of residents taken out of the Kursk region.
