On April 5, a Russian-Indian motorcycle rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in New Delhi. The footage of the event is available to Izvestia.

Organized by the joint efforts of the Russian Embassy in India, the Russian House in New Delhi and the Delhi Bikers Breakfast Run motorcycle club in the capital, the race brought together more than 150 motorcycle enthusiasts from Russia, Belarus and India.

A photo exhibition dedicated to the important contribution of Soviet motorcycles to achieving Victory over Nazi Germany was presented to the guests in the foyer of the Russian House.

The program of events also included a concert by Russian and Indian musical groups Connaught and Aryan Bir.

Earlier, on March 27, the Russian Embassy in India informed Izvestia that a motorcycle rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) would be held in New Delhi. It was noted that the memorial run will take place along a scenic route: the Russian Embassy — the Indian Gate — the National War Memorial — the Russian House.

On March 23, Markus Baisicht, a German lawyer and organizer of actions for friendship between countries, told Izvestia that it was also planned to organize a similar rally in Germany in connection with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory on May 9.
