The number of victims due to hurricane-force winds in Khakassia has increased to 40

The number of victims of the hurricane in Khakassia has increased to 40, including two children. This was announced on April 6 by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic.

"Five people were hospitalized, one of them is in serious condition. 35 patients are undergoing outpatient treatment," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

It is also specified that all patients receive full medical care.

On April 5, the head of Khakassia, Valentin Konovalov, reported that the wind damaged the roofs of houses and social facilities in Abakan, Chernogorsk and Ust-Abakan district. Fires have worsened in many municipalities, and power supply is disrupted in some places. Later, on April 6, 32 victims were reported, five of them were hospitalized.
