Last night, 43% of the monthly precipitation fell in the south of the Moscow Region, said Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center, on April 6.

In Central Russia, Kaluga became the record holder for precipitation, where the snow cover was 15 mm. According to the meteorologist, snowfalls are now falling in a latitudinal direction from west to east: in the Smolensk, Kaluga, Moscow, Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod regions. In the southern regions, precipitation is turning into rain, Tishkovets warned.
