The Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated more than 30 landscape fires in Khakassia

Specialists of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated 35 landscape fires in the Republic of Khakassia, four of them overnight. This was reported on April 6 in the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

"31 landscape fires were eliminated, the total length of the fire front was approaching 80 km. Four more landscape fires were extinguished on the night from Saturday to Sunday, their total length along the front was 6.5 km," the Telegram channel says.

The largest number of fires was eliminated in the Ust-Abakan region. The longest fires were recorded in the Baysky, Bogradsky and Ust-Abakan districts, as well as in the vicinity of Sayanogorsk. There are no fatalities.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a total of 60 fires were recorded in the republic, in 23 cases of which various buildings were damaged in Abakan, Sayanogorsk, Chernogorsk, Askiz, Shirinsky, Ordzhonikidze, Baysky and Altai districts.

The day before, the head of Khakassia, Valentin Konovalov, reported that the wind damaged the roofs of houses and social facilities in Abakan, Chernogorsk and Ust-Abakan district. Fires have worsened in many municipalities, and power supply is disrupted in some places. According to the latest data from the republican Ministry of Health, at least 11 residents of Khakassia were injured as a result of the hurricane, five were hospitalized.
