The British Foreign Office announced the detention of two MPs by Israel

Israel has detained two members of the British Parliament and denied entry to officials who were visiting the country as part of a delegation. This was announced on Saturday, April 5, by British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
According to the Reuters news agency, the detained parliamentarians are Labor MPs Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed, who were suspected of planning to "document the activities of security forces and spread anti—Israeli hatred." Both of them flew to Israel from Luton on Saturday, the newspaper reported.
"I have made it clear to my colleagues in the Israeli government that this is not the way to treat British parliamentarians, and tonight we contacted both members of parliament to offer our support," Lammy said.
The IDF resumed military operations against the Palestinian movement in Gaza on March 18. The press service of the Gaza Ministry of Health reported on March 28 that since then, more than 890 people have been killed and more than 1,980 injured in renewed attacks on the Palestinian enclave.
