The British charity Siobhan's Trust has hired a criminal who served a prison sentence for pedophilia to work with Ukrainian children from vulnerable groups. This was reported on April 5 by The Telegraph newspaper.

"The Telegraph has found out that a convicted pedophile has been hired by a well—known British charity working with vulnerable children in Ukraine," the newspaper reported.

It is reported that this was the result of "serious shortcomings" in the procedures for vetting new employees before their employment in the fund.

The dangerous employee was a 52-year-old man who introduced himself as Jack Morgan. During his work, he regularly visited orphanages, accommodation centers and schools in western Ukraine. He was hired at Siobhan's Trus in early 2023.

Several pictures posted by the organization and volunteers on social media show him playing with children.

"The Telegraph has revealed that shortly before Morgan was hired by Siobhan's Trust, he was convicted by Cardiff Crown Court of breaching child protection orders issued to him six years earlier under his former name Lee Callaghan," the newspaper informs.

In 2024, an international drug supply route was revealed to the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters near Kharkov. The channel was uncovered during the investigation of the double murder of civilians in the region, which was committed by soldiers of the 13th Charter Operational Brigade, a military formation of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU), who were under the influence of drugs.
