In Italy, the memory of the Russian journalists killed in their zone was honored

In the Italian city of Udine, local residents observed a minute of silence in memory of Izvestia war correspondent Alexander Fedorchak and other media workers who died in the area of the special operation. This was reported on April 5 by journalist Vincenzo Lorusso.
As part of the ceremony, a screen was installed on which photographs of the dead journalists and film crew specialists were shown.
It is reported that dozens of local residents attended the event.
The death of Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak in the SVR zone became known on March 24. On the same day, Andrey Panov, the operator of the Zvezda TV channel, and Alexander Sirkeli, the driver of the film crew, died. Later, on March 26, it became known about the death of Channel One's war correspondent Anna Prokofieva. A car with a film crew was blown up by a mine planted by Ukrainian militants in the Belgorod region.
On March 25, Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, said that the murders of Russian journalists were seen as a continuation of Nazi practices on the part of Ukraine.
