Sergeant Vyacheslav Perevozchikov has equipped mine-explosive barriers in one of the likely offensive directions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Russian Ministry of Defense on Sunday, April 6, reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen committed in the area of a special military operation (SVO).

The mining team arrived at the designated point, successfully set up explosive barriers and was already heading back to the unit when the sappers came under enemy mortar fire. One of the Russian soldiers suffered shrapnel wounds to his arms and legs. Perevozchikov immediately provided first aid to the victim and organized his evacuation to a field hospital. A few days later, explosive mines set up by Perevozchikov's group helped thwart the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attempt to storm Russian positions.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the competent and precise actions of Guard Corporal Alexei Panov, who, as part of a tank crew, performed combat missions in support of Russian assault groups.

During the battle for the liberation of one of the settlements, the crew of the tank, in which Panov served, destroyed five firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were firing at Russian units, preventing them from approaching the village. As a result, the settlement was successfully liberated.

Earlier, on April 5, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Guard Private Alexander Petrukhin, as part of an assault group, carried out a combat mission to storm the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the clash, he discovered an enemy howitzer and AFU personnel in a nearby wooded area, and then immediately transmitted the coordinates to the Russian gunners.
