A criminal case has been opened into the murder of a civilian resident of the Dmitryukov farm in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region by Ukrainian militants. This was announced on Sunday, April 6, by the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.
It is specified that the body of a man with signs of violent death was found in one of Dmitryukov's houses.
"The results of the investigative actions carried out allow us to conclude that Ukrainian militants were involved in the murder of a civilian," Petrenko said.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("A terrorist act that intentionally caused death to a person").
The investigation is currently establishing the identity of the deceased.
During the investigation, all those involved in the crime will be identified and brought to justice, Petrenko added.
Earlier that day, an official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the fact of the use of violence by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) against a civilian in the Kursk region due to ignorance of the Ukrainian language had been established.
