On April 3, a court in Sochi sentenced a man who beat to death his cohabitant's seven-year-old daughter to 18 years. It was established that the defendant, being dissatisfied with the child's behavior, inflicted multiple blows on her with a leather belt in the area of vital organs. As a result of the incident, the girl died in an ambulance.
