A Russian woman suffered serious burns after a boat explosion in Phuket

Anastasia, a Russian woman, suffered serious burns as a result of a boat fire in Phuket, Thailand. She told about it on Saturday, April 5, in an interview with Izvestia.

As Anastasia pointed out, her arms, legs and lower back were the most affected.

The Russian woman noted that because of the incident she had to spend the rest of her vacation in the hospital.

According to our interlocutor, she was on the ship with her husband at the time of the fire. At the same time, the couple's phones and clothes were burned during the fire.

The tour operator promised to contact Anastasia later and compensate for the damage.

A boat caught fire near Thailand on April 1. As a result, four Russian tourists were injured. There were 33 tourists on board, 26 of whom were Russian citizens. Presumably the cause of the fire was an engine failure.
