Large demonstrations against Trump's policies have begun in the United States.

Mass protests are taking place in the United States against the policies of American President Donald Trump and the imposition of import duties. This was reported on April 5 in The Guardian newspaper.
"In addition to major US cities, protests against Donald Trump are also taking place in small towns," the article clarifies.
According to the newspaper, outrage is caused by the promotion of the entrepreneur and the head of the Department of State Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk's USA, reduction of spending on healthcare, reduction of measures to support the environment and national parks. In particular, the protesters are opposed to the introduction of import duties.
"Some have reserved a special anger towards the richest man in the world: "I didn't choose Elon Musk." Others emphasized the protesters' concern about the future of democracy in the United States," the newspaper wrote.
On April 5, the head of the European People's Party (EPP) faction in the European Parliament, Manfred Weber, announced the emergence of a new world order in connection with Trump's duties. He also expressed doubt about the return of the "old America" and noted that Washington increasingly sees Europe as an adversary.
On April 2, Trump announced large-scale measures: base tariffs of 10% are being introduced for all products supplied to the United States. For Europe, this figure has been raised to 20%, and for China — to 34%. In his speech, the president called April 2 the day when Americans will become rich again.
