- The Prime Minister of Thuringia allowed the resumption of Russian gas supplies to Germany

On April 5, Mario Vogt, Prime Minister of the German federal state of Thuringia, a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party, allowed the resumption of Russian gas supplies to Germany.
"You can imagine that," Vogt said in an interview with the Berliner Zeitung newspaper.
Also, according to the politician, the resumption of supplies is possible only after the end of the conflict in Ukraine, adds "Газета.Ru ".
Earlier, on April 4, Lubos Blaga, a member of the European Parliament (EP) from Slovakia, told Izvestia about his intention to return Russian gas transit to the European Union through his territory. He added that the situation is so absurd that even Western countries that "hate" Russia buy liquefied natural gas (LNG) from it and then sell it in Europe.
