A municipal emergency mode was introduced in Saransk due to a UAV attack.

A municipal-level emergency regime was introduced in Saransk after a night attack by drones (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to Mordovia. This was announced on April 5 by the head of the region, Artem Zdunov.

"After today's UAV attack, we decided to introduce a municipal—level emergency regime in Saransk for the safety of our residents," Zdunov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head noted that all services have repeatedly practiced actions in emergency situations, "everyone is working smoothly, everyone knows their own order."

According to him, residents of nearby houses are being moved to temporary accommodation, where doctors and psychologists work.

"Dear residents. Stay calm, adhere to all the recommendations of the staff," concluded the head of the republic.

More than 30 sites have been hit since agreements were reached on steps to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

Earlier in the day, Zdunov reported that on the night of April 5, one of the enterprises of Mordovia was attacked by a drone. According to the head of the region, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
