Sergayeva pointed out the biased attitude of FIG towards Russian gymnasts

The Special Commission of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), rejecting the applications of Russian athletes for neutral status, made unfair decisions dictated by a biased attitude towards the country's athletes. This was announced to Izvestia on April 5 by the head coach of the Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team, Tatyana Sergayeva.
At the same time, she noted that the members of the national rhythmic and gymnastics teams performed as one family, refusing to perform at international tournaments.
"Today, the members of the national rhythmic and athletic gymnastics teams performed as one family. We hope for a revision of the FIG special rules and for the return of our athletes to the international arena," she said.
