The number of injured as a result of the collision of two buses in Japan has increased to 47. This was reported on April 5 by the Kyodo news agency, citing the police.

"47 people, mostly foreign nationals, were injured after one tourist bus crashed into another in western Tokyo," the article says.

According to the agency, none of the victims have life-threatening injuries.

The accident became known earlier that day. It was clarified that in the Japanese city of Hachioji, near Tokyo, two tourist buses collided. As a result of the accident, the exit lanes of the Chuo expressway were closed.
