Four people were injured due to the hurricane in Abakan

Four people were injured in the hurricane in Abakan. This was announced on April 5 by the head of the Republic of Khakassia, Valentin Konovalov, following an operational meeting of the Commission for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations.
"Four victims have been registered in Abakan for the current hour due to wind gusts. <...> Starting today, an emergency regime has been introduced in the republic by the decision of the commission," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
The head of the region added that roofs of residential buildings and social facilities were partially damaged in Abakan, Chernogorsk and Ust-Abakan district. Tree falls and car damage were also recorded. Information about the total number of objects and victims is being clarified.
Against the background of increased wind gusts, fires have worsened in many municipalities of Khakassia. Thus, foci of about 43 fires were recorded. In some municipalities, among other things, there is a power outage.
Konovalov also informed about the restriction of car traffic on 66 km of the Abakan —Sayanogorsk road and urged residents to take care of themselves, as well as promptly report fires if detected.
This morning, the Governor of the Kemerovo region, Ilya Seredyuk, announced the introduction of a "High alert" regime throughout the territory of Kuzbass to eliminate the consequences of hurricane gusts. He clarified that emergency recovery teams are involved in the region. The head of the Kemerovo region also set the task to restore electricity supply by the end of the day, and to bring out the repair services of management companies to restore roofs.
