A high-alert mode has been introduced in Kuzbass due to hurricane winds.
A "High alert" regime has been introduced throughout Kuzbass to eliminate the effects of hurricane-force gusts, and emergency recovery teams are involved in the region. This was announced on Saturday, April 5, by Ilya Seredyuk, Governor of the Kemerovo Region.
The head of the region noted that dangerous weather conditions had developed in Kuzbass over the past day — the wind speed had increased up to hurricane force (33 m/s). 77 brigades, 85 pieces of equipment and 230 people are involved in eliminating emergency power outages.
"We have introduced the "High alert" mode throughout the region. Numerous gusts of electricity, roof damage, falling branches and trees, advertising structures, and bus stops were recorded," Seredyuk said on his Telegram channel.
