The Victory Rocket (Soyuz 2.1a) with the Soyuz MS-27 manned spacecraft has been installed on the launch pad at Baikonur, the Roscosmos State Corporation reported on April 5.
"The rocket is installed in an upright position, and specialists from Roscosmos enterprises are preparing it for launch. The launch is scheduled for April 8 at 08:47:15 Moscow time," the state corporation's website says.
Earlier on April 5, Roscosmos announced that the Victory Rocket and the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft had been removed from the assembly and testing complex and were being prepared for launch.
The rocket launch will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Her crew includes Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Alexey Zubritsky and an astronaut from NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the USA) Jonathan Kim.
