28 Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were shot down over Donetsk and Makeyevka overnight

During the night, the Domol Donbas air defense and electronic warfare system and the air defense forces eliminated 28 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over Donetsk and Makeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on April 5 by the press service of the republican Directorate of the FSB of Russia.

"28 enemy drones were suppressed and destroyed," the ministry said.

In the early morning, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the elimination of 49 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Russian regions overnight.

According to the agency, over the territory of the Voronezh Region, the air defense forces intercepted 16 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as 14 drones over the Belgorod region. Six drones were shot down over the Kursk and Samara regions, three more in the skies over Mordovia and one drone each over the Bryansk, Lipetsk, Orel and Penza regions.
