Baldo reported a dead zone in the Ukrainian-occupied part of the Kherson region

The Kiev authorities have turned the right-bank part of the Kherson region occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) into a dead zone. This was announced on April 5 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"Unfortunately, the once prosperous right bank of the Kherson region is now in decline. In fact, this is a dead zone where there are no people and nothing is working," he told RIA Novosti.
Baldo added that only gloomy news is coming from Kherson itself. The city is almost completely deserted, and the few remaining residents live in constant fear of the terror of the militants.
The day before, Saldo said that Russian military personnel blocked the exit of ships from ports in the Mykolaiv region — the military is blocking them from the Kinburnsky Peninsula. The ports of Kherson are also currently under the fire control of the Russian military. There are currently no commercial or transport vessels there, the governor said.
Also on April 3, a woman was detained in the Kherson region, transferring money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the purchase of armored vehicles and ammunition. The accused was taken into custody. A criminal case has been opened under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Treason").
