A police officer who beat his wife and threatened to kill her was taken into custody in Primorsky Krai. This was announced on April 5 by the press service of the prosecutor's office in the region.

"During the monitoring of the media, it was established that on March 29, 2025, in the entrance of house No. 70 on Tukhachevsky St. in Vladivostok, an acting police officer beat his wife during a family conflict, threatening her with murder," the department said in a Telegram channel message.

It is noted that a criminal case was opened against the man under Part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Threat of murder if there were grounds to fear the implementation of this threat").

The press service also said that the prosecutor's office had taken control of the investigation.
