DTM announced Macron's readiness to speak with Putin on behalf of Europe

French President Emmanuel Macron is ready to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin on behalf of Europe in the future. This was reported on April 4 by The Daily Telegraph (DT) newspaper, citing a source.
As the source pointed out, Macron intends to act as a negotiator "at the right moment," which has not yet arrived.
It is clarified that other members of the "coalition of the willing" are pushing the French leader to do this, referring to the fact that Macron previously got along well with Putin.
At the same time, the publication noted the reluctance of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to take part in a dialogue with Moscow.
On April 3, the leader of the Stand Up, France party, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, told Izvestia that the French people do not agree with the policy of the current authorities of the country, who support Ukraine and do not contribute to the conclusion of peace, which is sought by US leader Donald Trump and Putin.
