The soldiers of the 18th Guards Motorized Rifle Division were presented with awards.

The personnel of the 18th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the North Group of forces received state and departmental awards. This was announced on April 5 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Military personnel of the 18th Guards Insterburg Order of Suvorov, II degree, of the Red Banner Motorized Rifle Division of the 11th Army Corps of the North Group of forces, performing tasks to counter Ukrainian armed formations in the border area of the Kursk region, have been awarded state and departmental awards," the department said.

At the ceremony, the soldiers received Orders of Courage, medals "For Bravery", Zhukov, "For Military Honors" and other awards.

The ceremony ended with the laying of flowers at the monument of the Kursk Battle Memorial complex in memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
