Torpedo head coach Larionov terminated his contract and left the position.

Igor Larionov, the head coach of the Torpedo hockey club, has resigned from his position and terminated his contract with the team. This was announced on April 4 by the general director of the club, Alexander Kharlamov.
"The decision to terminate the cooperation was considered and difficult, it was mutual. We have deep respect for the path that the team has followed together with Igor Larionov, and we highly appreciate everything that has been done over the years," he said.
According to Kharlamov, the reason for this decision was that at the end of the season Torpedo was unable to achieve the sports goals that were set.
It is specified that the club will maintain its commitment to an attacking style of play and will strive for new results.
It is also planned to move the team to a new ice arena.
"Torpedo Hockey Club expresses its sincere gratitude to Igor Nikolaevich for the work done and wishes him success, new achievements and victories in his further professional activities," the team's press service said.
On April 2, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl won the series with Torpedo 4-0 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. The winning team scored strikers Alexander Radulov and Richard Panik, who also scored one assist. Vladislav Firstov scored the only goal for the hosts.
