The idea of US President Donald Trump to break the alliance between China and Russia is wrong, he will not succeed. This was stated on Friday, April 4, by David Ignatius, a foreign policy columnist for The Washington Post (WP), in his author's column.

"There is a big but deeply flawed idea behind President Donald Trump's intention to shake up the global military and economic order: he seems convinced that the newly powerful United States can pull Russia away from China and become an intermediary between Moscow and Beijing," the columnist wrote.

At the same time, he argues, based on the opinion of analysts, that the Russian Federation and China continue their partnership, despite Trump's "persuasions".

"Meanwhile, the United States can seriously harm its alliances in Europe and Asia, as countries there doubt America's readiness to contain the power of Russia and China," Ignatius said.

According to the newspaper's columnist, the United States' allies are nervous as Trump seeks to share influence on the world stage with China and Russia, which will have no place for other countries.

On the eve of April 3, Zoltan Koshkovich, an employee of the Center for Fundamental Rights, said that in the near future the political structure of the world will completely change. According to him, it will be a triumvirate of the United States, China and Russia.
