Hamas refused to evacuate hostages from dangerous regions of Gaza

The Palestinian Hamas movement has refused to transport Israeli hostages from areas of the Gaza Strip that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has demanded to be evacuated. This was announced on Friday, April 4, by the representative of the military wing of the Abu Ubayda movement.
"Half of the enemy's living prisoners are in areas that the occupation army has demanded to evacuate in recent days. We decided not to remove these prisoners from these areas and leave them under enhanced security measures, which, however, are extremely dangerous to their lives," the Telegram channel of the military wing of the movement says.
According to Ubaida, the hostages will remain in danger until Israel resumes negotiations with Hamas on their evacuation or release.
Earlier in the day, the IDF announced the elimination of the commander of the Palestinian Hamas movement Hassan Farhat in western Lebanon as a result of a strike in the Saida area. According to the military, Farhat led the movement's forces in the western sector of Lebanon and "posed a threat to Israel and its citizens."
Prior to that, on April 2, it was reported that the Israeli Air Force intercepted two rockets launched into the country from the Gaza Strip. There was no talk of damage or casualties as a result of the attack.
