In Mezhdurechensk, Kemerovo region (Kuzbass), the roof of a five-story building on an area of 900 square meters caught fire. This was reported to Izvestia on Friday, April 4, by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
"The fire is currently localized," the press service of the department reports.
It is specified that 120 people, including 21 children, evacuated on their own. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation rescued 17 people, four of them minors.
As indicated, three buses were organized to heat the evacuees.
The residents of the burning house were provided with a temporary accommodation facility.
On the eve of April 3, it was reported that a large fire occurred at an industrial enterprise in the city of Berezniki, Perm Krai, caused by a transformer fire. As a result of the emergency, the roof of the building partially collapsed. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
