Youth government to be assembled in Murmansk region

There are plans to re-establish a youth government in the Murmansk Region. This is reported by the Bi-port news agency with reference to the relevant draft resolution of the governor of the region.
According to the documentation, the youth government will function on a voluntary basis and will become an advisory body to the main government of the region. The purpose of its reconstruction is to involve young people aged 18 to 35 in the socio-economic development of the region.
Representatives of the youth government will participate in the development of draft regulations, involve scientists and various specialists in the development of individual programs, form creative teams, expert and working groups for their work, and perform a number of other tasks.
As the news agency notes, a youth government has already existed in the Murmansk Region for some time. It was established in 2010 and ceased to function in 2014.
