- The Russian Foreign Ministry linked the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the civilian population with the unwillingness to resolve the conflict.

The attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the civilian population of Russia indicate that a cease-fire is not part of the plans of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. This was announced on April 4 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"The Zelensky regime has no political will for peace. His clique is pathologically obsessed with bloodshed, terror, causing damage and maximum suffering to the civilian population," Zakharova is quoted as saying on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The statement emphasizes that "modern Bandera fighters" daily arrange targeted hunting using drones (UAVs) on civilians.
"Zelensky's bandits are ruthlessly opening fire on women, the elderly and children, trying to strike residential buildings, shops, schools, hospitals, social and transport infrastructure facilities," Zakharova said.
According to her, the people of Russia will do everything to repeat "the feat of the grandfathers and great-grandfathers who managed to win a Great Victory over fascism 80 years ago."
Earlier, on April 2, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin reported that three adults and a teenager were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on Gorlovka in the DPR. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes also damaged two residential buildings and a civilian car. According to Pushilin, in total, Ukrainian militants carried out about 10 attacks using 155 mm cluster-type cannon artillery and an attack drone.
