A resident of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) was detained for collecting intelligence in the interests of the Ukrainian special services, the press service of the FSB for the republic reported on April 4.

"The criminal has been detained, and a criminal case has been opened against him by the FSB of Russia in the Luhansk People's Republic on the grounds of a crime under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the agency said.

According to the FSB, a resident of the Belokurakinsky district voluntarily collected information about the location of Rosgvardiya warehouses for the Ukrainian special services. He transmitted the received data through an intermediary in order to strike at the positions of the Russian military.

It is clarified that the attacker is charged under the article "Treason" (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), investigative measures are continuing.
