Applications for an IT internship in the Moscow government will be accepted on April 14.

A new internship stream is being organized for young information technology (IT) specialists in the Moscow government. Applications for participation will be accepted on April 14, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

Graduates and students of specialized educational institutions between the ages of 18 and 35 can join the IT City program. Applicants will need to fill out a questionnaire on the career portal by the end of May, and then undergo a selection process that includes testing, a profile assignment, and an interview.

According to Sergunina, the program is popular. "More than four thousand applications were received for the previous stream. In 2025, about 180 students and graduates will have a chance to prove themselves," the deputy mayor said.

The six-month paid internship takes place in one of ten areas, including Business and System Analysis, Development, and Technical Support. The participants, with the support of mentors, will have to work on the development of portals. mos.ru and Get to Know Moscow, a unified medical information and analytical system, the Moscow Electronic School platform, the Russpass travel service, and other urban IT projects.

After practice, students often receive job offers and stay in the IT team of the capital. It already includes about 130 graduates of the program.
