The Commission of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine opens the crayfish during the inspection of the relics of the saints of the Kiev Caves Lavra. Experts and a clergyman told about it on April 4.
"They are trying to undermine the sacred authority, the sacred authority of the church. And how to undermine it? To check the relics, to declare that the relics were planted there, that the church has nothing sacred, that the church is deceiving," said Roman Lukin, Deputy Director for Scientific Work at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Igor Ivanishko, a forensic religious expert, noted that "official neo-pagan organizations" are now widespread in Ukraine, which are allowed to act at the front and declare their rejection of traditional values.
Priest Maxim Serpitsky told Izvestia that "Western society is saturated with demonic influences," which is why he is persecuting the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in Ukraine.
Earlier that day, the UOC said that the commission of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine was not just inspecting the relics of the saints of the Kiev Caves Lavra, but was conducting an ethnic audit of them.
The Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ) announced the beginning of the seizure of the Nearby caves of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra on March 28. It was noted that police officers entered the closed premises of the monastery. One of the employees of the lavra was spotted on the territory with a saw grinder in his hands. On March 6, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine announced that a special commission would assess the condition and safety of the relics of saints in the Near and Far caves of the Kiev Caves Lavra.
