Finland to hold military exercises on the border with Russia

The Finnish Jaeger regiment will conduct exercises in the south of the country near the border with Russia from April 7. Information about this appeared on April 4 on the website of the Finnish Land forces.
"The purpose of flight training is to train helicopter crews to operate in various operating conditions, both during daylight and at night," the report says.
It is specified that the flights will mainly take place in Kymenlaakso, an area bordering Russia. Training sessions are also planned in the capital region, Lahti, Kotka and Kouvola.
In November last year, NATO military exercises TUMAK-24 started in Poland, they were held 70 km from the border with Russia. The 16th Mechanized Division of the Polish army and allied NATO forces participated in them.
