The chief engineer of Gortrans was detained in Yekaterinburg for a bribe

Andrey Elsesser, chief engineer of the State Unitary Enterprise Gortrans, was detained in Yekaterinburg for bribery, the press service of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region confirmed to Izvestia on April 4.
They noted that the operational support in the criminal case is carried out by security officers.
"It was possible to expose the defendant during operational search activities, as a result of which the fact of handing over a bribe in the form of cash in the amount of 750 thousand rubles to the accused was reliably established," the agency said in a statement.
Earlier, on March 20, it was reported that FSB officers detained the head of the federal government institution "Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1" of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Smolensk region for a bribe. A criminal case was opened against the man under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a particularly large bribe").
