The Belarusian Belgee became the leader of car sales among new brands in the Russian Federation

By the end of March 2025, the Belarusian brand Belgee turned out to be the leader in the Russian car market among the car brands that have appeared in the Russian Federation over the past three years. This is stated in the message of the company's press service, which was received by Izvestia on April 4.

In March, the company sold 2,428 Belgee vehicles in Russia, which is 21% more than a month earlier. Sales of the compact crossover Belgee X50 (originally Geely Coolray) totaled 1,406 vehicles, while the Belgee X70 (Geely Atlas Pro) found 1,022 new buyers.

In February 2025, a 2001 crossover of the Belarusian brand was sold in the Russian Federation. Of these, 1,213 units are X50, and 788 units are X70.

Earlier that day, the Autostat agency reported an almost twofold drop in new car sales in Russia. By the end of March 2025, 79.8 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is 45.5% less than in the first spring month of 2024.

On January 21, it was reported that sales of the Belgee S50 sedan are expected to begin in Russia in the second half of 2025. It is based on the Chinese Geely Emgrand and is already on sale in Belarus.
