Repair train derailed in New Moscow

A repair train derailed in the afternoon on a section of the railway under construction in the settlement of Novofedorovskoye in New Moscow. This was announced on April 4 by the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"The prosecutor's office is investigating the circumstances of the train derailment in the settlement of Novofedorovskoye in New Moscow. According to preliminary data, a repair train derailed on the tracks under construction this afternoon," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to a source in Izvestia, three wagons overturned, injuring three people, all with fractures, including those of the spine and lower leg. One person died.
