The death toll from the earthquake in Myanmar has risen to 3,301 people, with another 4,792 injured. This was reported on April 4 by the Chinese television channel CCTV.

"As a result of the strong earthquake in Myanmar on March 28, 3,301 people were killed in the country, 4,792 were injured and 221 people were missing," the report said.
