Friday was the warmest day in Moscow since the beginning of the year

In Moscow, this Friday became the warmest day since the beginning of 2025 — the air warmed up to +16.5 degrees. Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, announced this on April 4 in his Telegram channel.
"According to the megalopolis base weather station, VDNKh, by 13:00 the thermometer rose to +16.5 degrees, which is half a degree higher than the previous leader, on the last day of March, and corresponds to the climatic norm of the first five days of May," the Moscow City News agency quotes the forecaster.
He added that despite the gusty wind, the air in the capital continues to warm up. Leus added that the exact value of today's maximum will be known after 21:00 Moscow time.
The meteorologist added that on Saturday, April 5, the temperature in Moscow will return to the climatic norm.
In turn, Ekaterina Demyanovskaya, an expert at the Hemotest laboratory, a neurologist, warned in an interview with RT how weather changes could affect health.
She noted that when atmospheric pressure decreases, blood vessels dilate, which can cause another headache attack in patients with migraines.
Earlier in the day, data from the Yandex Weather service showed that mostly cloudy weather awaits Muscovites on the weekend of April 5 and 6. Rain is possible on Saturday and snow on Sunday. A cold snap, sleet and wind are expected in the capital region by the end of next weekend. 360.ru .
