- More than 5.5 thousand applications were received for the fifth season of the "You're in the Game" contest.

Applications for the fifth season of the All-Russian sports Project competition "You're in the Game" have been accepted. This year, a record number of them were received – 5,582 projects from all regions of Russia. The leaders are Moscow, Krasnodar Krai, Tatarstan and St. Petersburg. The largest number of applications were submitted in the "Starting Point" and "Children in Sports" categories. Multisport and military-applied sports are among the leaders.
On April 10, the semi-finalists of the "You're in the Game" anniversary season will be announced. They will complete an educational accelerator and gain the knowledge and tools to scale their projects. The contestants will compete for the victory in five main and three special nominations. The finalists will be awarded in Moscow on June 1.
Each season, the participants' projects are evaluated by the best industry experts. In the fifth season, the "You're in the Game" expert council includes Olympic champion in speed skating Svetlana Zhurova, five–time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Sports of the Kaliningrad Region Natalia Ishchenko, Secretary General of the Russian Paralympic Committee Andrey Strokin, President of the Kontinental Hockey League Alexey Morozov, world and European champion in figure skating. Ilya Averbukh, Honored Journalist of Russia Dmitry Guberniev and others. The authors of the projects will receive feedback from a large team of real professionals.
In the fifth season of "You're in the Game", the emphasis on the educational component has been significantly increased and the mentoring unit has been strengthened. For several weeks, experts from the educational accelerator will work with the semifinalists and finalists to help participants improve their sports management skills, enhance their professional competencies and hone their projects, providing an opportunity to look at them from different angles. The acquired applied knowledge and tools will allow participants to successfully scale their projects in the future.
