In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), a court sentenced a 17-year-old boy to 6.6 years in a penal colony in a case of treason. This was announced on April 4 by the press service of the DPR Prosecutor's office.

"The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic has handed down a verdict in a criminal case against a 17-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High treason")," the message says.

It is specified that the minor, while fulfilling the tasks of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), collected and transmitted information about the locations of Russian army units to the enemy. However, the police officers were able to stop the criminal activity.

The ministry added that the court sentenced the defendant to 6 years and 6 months in prison to be served in an educational colony.

The day before, security forces detained a woman in the Kherson region who was transferring money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to purchase armored vehicles, ammunition, equipment and medicines. The suspect was taken into custody. A criminal case has been opened.
