The level of trust of Russians in Putin was almost 80%

Almost 80% of Russians trust Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced on April 4 by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research (VTsIOM).

The study took place from March 24 to March 30, and 1.6 thousand people participated in it daily.

"The president's approval rating <...> it amounted to 77.4%. <...> 79.8% of respondents answered positively to a direct question about trust in Vladimir Putin," the VTsIOM website says.

In addition, according to the survey results, the level of positive assessment of the work of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin was 53.9%, and the government of Russia — 53.4%.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted on January 17 that Putin enjoys enormous popular support. He added that the results of the polls are influenced by the successes of the special military operation. The president's press secretary called it an important factor "for inspiring citizens."
