The state traffic Inspectorate announced a raid on taxi drivers in Moscow


The Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate has announced a raid in which special attention will be paid to taxi drivers. The Moscow department announced the preventive measure in its Telegram channel on April 4.
The raid on taxi drivers will take place next weekend, on April 5-6. A preventive measure aimed at reducing the accident rate, improving safety during passenger transportation, as well as preventing offenses by taxi drivers, the department said.
The last raid of the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate took place on March 21-23, and traffic police paid special attention to users of electric bicycles and personal mobility equipment.
As a result, the inspectors stopped more than 5.5 thousand traffic violations. Of these, 5,1 thousand materials were compiled in relation to couriers of delivery services, and 435 — in relation to persons using a SIM card for movement.
On April 2, it was reported that the State Duma rejected three bills on automotive topics, Izvestia found out. One proposed to introduce a discount on the payment of a fine for non—payment of parking, the second — to allow driving a vehicle in the absence of physical documents, the third - to modify traffic cameras.
