The Ministry of Defense announced details about the liberation of Veseloe in the DPR

On Friday, April 4, the Russian Ministry of Defense published details of the liberation of the village of Veseloe in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by Russian fighters of the Vostok group of forces.
It is reported that at first, calculations of rocket systems and attack drones, in cooperation with operators of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), destroyed positions and places of concentration of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Then the stormtroopers cleared the buildings and basements.
It is specified that during the liberation, about 200 buildings were cleared and 100 Ukrainian militants were destroyed.
After the successful completion of the task, the soldiers began work on mine clearance.
"The storming of the village of Veseloe turned out to be difficult, like all settlements before it. Initially, artillery training was conducted in the settlement, they practiced grads, fabs (High-explosive aerial bombs. — Ed.). Then the infantry began to enter in small groups. Then we began to enter directly as part of the tank columns, bringing infantry to advance directly into the settlement itself," said the commander of the tank platoon with the call sign "Kolos".
The Russian soldier also noted that the Ukrainian militants "are not particularly resisting" because their weapons are outdated and their positions have weakened.
On April 3, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian military had liberated the settlements of Veseloe in the Donetsk People's Republic and Lobkove in the Zaporizhia region.
